    Terms of Service

    1. Agreement to Terms

    By accessing or using the services provided by Ashmaig Auto Rentals ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

    2. Eligibility

    To rent a vehicle from Ashmaig Auto Rentals, you must:

    • Be at least 21 years of age
    • Possess a valid U.S. driver's license
    • Pass identity verification, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
    • Maintain valid auto insurance or purchase insurance through our approved providers
    • Provide accurate and truthful information during the application process

    3. Application & Screening

    By submitting a rental application, you authorize Ashmaig Auto Rentals to conduct identity verification, a background check, and a motor vehicle record check. Approval is at the sole discretion of the Company. We reserve the right to deny any application without providing a reason.

    4. Rental Terms & Payment

    Rental rates are billed on a weekly basis. Payment is due in advance each week. Late payments may result in daily late fees as outlined in your rental agreement. Failure to make timely payments may result in vehicle repossession and termination of the rental agreement.

    5. Vehicle Use & Responsibilities

    As a renter, you agree to:

    • Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes
    • Not allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle
    • Maintain the vehicle in good condition and report any damage immediately
    • Complete required vehicle inspections as requested
    • Return the vehicle in the same condition as received, subject to normal wear and tear
    • Not modify, alter, or tamper with the vehicle or any tracking devices installed

    6. Insurance Requirements

    All renters must maintain valid auto insurance that meets Arizona's minimum liability requirements. If you do not have your own insurance, you must purchase coverage through our approved provider (Bonzah) before taking possession of the vehicle. Rideshare drivers are covered under our internal commercial policy while actively driving for rideshare platforms.

    7. Damage & Liability

    You are responsible for all damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including damage caused by accidents, theft, vandalism, or negligence. You agree to report any accidents or damage to the Company within 24 hours of occurrence. Failure to maintain adequate insurance may result in personal liability for all damages and associated costs.

    8. Termination

    Either party may terminate the rental agreement with appropriate notice as outlined in the signed rental agreement. The Company reserves the right to terminate the agreement immediately for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or any conduct that endangers the vehicle or public safety.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashmaig Auto Rentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or vehicles.

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.

    11. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
